The Mission of RightNOW! Philadelphia

RightNOW! is an organization open to contemporary women who have an interest in forward-looking, inclusive center/right ideas. RightNOW!’s members come from all walks of life and levels of experience, demonstrating that the modern Republican woman cannot be labeled. Members of RightNOW! also are proponents of personal responsibility and advocates of working closely with women having similar, but not always identical, political beliefs. RightNOW! has a strong commitment to promoting the importance of direct involvement by women in all aspects of public policy, and providing an educational resource for all policy issues of our day. RightNOW! also expects to provide an open and candid forum for its existing and prospective members to exchange their views on a range of political issues. Members of RightNOW! hope to effect positive change in America, and help make this country a better place for all women.

Statement of Principles for RightNOW!

• Although RightNOW!’s members share a common belief in free-markets, limited government, and personal responsibility, RightNOW! is not a single-issue organization and is inclusive of varying, innovative viewpoints.

• RightNOW! encourages consideration of all policy issues that strengthen the independence, earning power, abilities, and education of women.

• RightNOW! encourages participation in charitable causes pertaining, but not limited, to women’s issues and primary concerns.

• RightNOW! advocates broadening the Republican base through the acceptance of different, yet compelling, viewpoints.

• RightNOW! encourages women of all backgrounds and levels of experience to participate in public policy and the political process to effect positive change in narrowing the gender gap.

• RightNOW! utilizes the national, state, and local grassroots levels as policy fora to ensure that interest and participation in the organization and the issues can grow.

• RightNOW! provides a forum for Republican leaders to engage women in an active public policy dialogue.

• RightNOW! offers a network for all existing and prospective members on a wide range of current policy issues and political developments of interest to women.

• RightNOW! maintains a strong commitment to using the Internet and other advanced technologies to facilitate the forum for its ideas, and to increase professional and personal opportunities for women.
